You're doing a great job in developing your ideas and where you're going. I've been reading and studying Teilhard de Chardin again and also the development of Stoic thinking. What you've written could easily be inserted into those readings.
Apparently Dawkins et.al. have only a very limited understanding of Christianity, possibly gleaned from watching tent meetings or most cradle Catholics.
Instead of Dawkins, I recommend the book by physicist Sean Carroll entitled "The Big Picture." It defends (in great detail) what Carroll calls "poetic naturalism," going into all the issues touched upon in this blog.
